WW: Sit/Squat {Linky}

Mica sits, stands or squats like this:

He does it even in his chair. We're constantly saying, "Mica sit down on your butt!"

At every store we go to, Mica finds a book and sits/squats to read. One time he wouldn't follow me. He said, "Mom I have to read this." I just kept walking, and he kept reading. I hid. I could see him, but he couldn't see me. He sat/squatted there for 5 minutes with no care in the world that I was nowhere in sight. When he was done with his book, he went all over the store trying to find me. He was walking so fast I lost him, but soon found him again.

Want to enter some low giveaways? I have 2. One is to win 2 pillow protectors US and the other is to win a night cream that takes wrinkles and lines away. It's called Nerium US and Canada.

When we were in China it seemed most people did that. I can't even last a minute like that, I find it so uncomfortable. He must have strong legs.

That looks uncomfortable to me.

Hard to find fault w/ a kid that loves to read so much :-)

I bet he's going to have some very strong leg muscles if he keeps that up!

As long as he's comfortable, right?

I sat indian-style on many bookstore floors, but never squatted like that! He must have strong legs.

I was always a squatter too. I had such a bony butt it would hurt to sit on hard surfaces.

Kids are so limber. I don't worry about it until they get to upper elementary school.

My kids are not very keen on chairs either... they always take up some weird positions instead.

That's funny that he prefers to sit that way. That would kill my legs within 2 minutes tops.

That's funny that it's his preferred position!

Must be something with kids. Mine does this same thing. Maybe one day they'll sit :)

And same with the reading. Haha. I hide and the come speeding by trying to find me in a panic.

They have no sense of fear at all, no matter how you talk about safety :)

And it's hard when they do love to read so much.

He will have GREAT LEGS the more he does it....

Graham does this a lot too. I think they just find different ways to be comfortable while exerting energy LOL!

I think he's in training to live or visit India, or another country where they regularly sit like that. In some countries, the people can keep that position for hours. :) Thanks for linking and commenting on Amanda's Books and More!
