Wordless Wednesday - Berry Picking

I decided this weekend that it was time to pick the June Berries off of our Service Berry tree.

Mica picked the berries inside the tree:

I picked the berries on a step ladder {my view}:

Isaak, well he handed us the bucket, ate the unwashed berries {oh well} and the rest of the time threw sticks in the air.

How it ended: The boy's ran around the tree playing Ring Around the Rosy. Mica quit because he was tired and Isaak wanted to keep playing. Isaak said, "Come on Mica keep saying it because I can't say the, 'Asses Asses' part!"

I made muffins. I'm going to make a crisp. The photo's were just too much fun!

I had to laugh at the "asses" comment. Hilarious! I've never heard of serviceberries before. They are very pretty photographed though.

I love these shots. Berry picking is one of my favourite things to do in the summer months, and eating them without washing them? It's a right of passage!
Great shots!

When I was a child I use to love to go out of the city to pick strawberry's. After I would eat way to much of them and get a stomach ack but still it was awesome.
